We take down and store the Christmas lights we install for homes in Portland, Lake Oswego and West Linn, Oregon. Takedown is part of every package, so there’s no ladder for you in January and nothing to pack, label or store.

How takedown works

The season ends cleanly.

In January we come back, unclip every strand and leave your roofline the way we found it. We hang everything with clips only, so there are no nails or staples to pull, and if anything was damaged, we fix it at our cost.

The lights come home with us. We own them, so you never store a box of tangled strands in the garage, and when your display goes back up next season, your price stays the same for three seasons.

Everything in Signature, plus your larger trees wrapped in light. The full, all-out transformation, from the street to the front door.

    Use the form, or call or text, and we’ll set a time to see your house.

    See your design the same day

    A mockup of your home, lit, with one firm price for each package, the same day we visit.

  3. 03

    Book your date

    A 50% deposit holds your install date, in writing. The balance is due at install.

  4. 04

    Enjoy the season

    We install, walk the lit house with you and text you a night photo. In January we take it all down and store it.

Where are the lights stored?

With us. Portland Christmas Lighting owns the lights and leases them to you for the season, so there is nothing for you to buy, store or untangle.

Will takedown damage my gutters or roof?

No. The lights go up with clips only, no nails or staples, so they come down cleanly. If anything is damaged, we fix it at our own cost.
